Denis Suarez has failed to start a Premier League game since joining Unai Emery’s Arsenal on loan from Barcelona.

Kim Kallstrom will go down as one of the most infamous signings in Arsenal’s recent history, although not because of any memorable moments of quality in the red and white shirt. Quite the opposite, in fact.
A Sweden international with 136 caps, Kallstrom arrived at the Emirates on a short-term loan in January 2014, with his experience and calming influence tipped to have a positive influence on a Gunners team fighting for domestic and European glory under Arsene Wenger.
But, by the time the season came to an end, it became clear that Kallstrom was set for a place in Arsenal folklore for all the wrong reasons.
The former Lyon midfielder made just four appearances in six months in North London. This is just two games less than Denis Suarez has featured in since he joined Arsenal on a short-term deal from Barcelona.

The skilful Spaniard was identified as a possible replacement for Aaron Ramsey when he arrived three months ago but, after just 95 minutes of action spread across six substitute appearances, it seems increasingly unlikely that Arsenal will take up their option to sign him permanently for £18 million (the Sun).
In time, Suarez could go down as Unai Emery’s own Kallstrom. A hugely promising player who was expected to produce so much more.
