Arvin Appiah is starring for England’s U18s, so is a Championship debut for Aitor Karanka’s Nottingham Forest around the corner?

Nottingham Forest fans were seriously hoping that their 20-year exile from the Premier League was set to come to an end this season.
But an underwhelming start to the Championship campaign, where Forest have won one of six matches to ramp up the pressure on Aitor Karanka, has certainly tempered the optimism.
The City Ground faithful need a pick-me-up over the international break with their hopes of promotion already dwindling. Fortunately, young Arvin Appiah has stepped up to provide exactly that.
Forest’s academy is one of the most impressive in English football and Appiah is the latest fresh-faced starlet to emerge in the East Midlands.

And the 17-year-old winger added to his growing reputation with a goal as England’s U18s thrashed Holland 3-0 in the Limoges Tournament on Wednesday night. This is not the first time Appiah has stood out for the Young Lions either.
He starred during England’s run to the semi-finals of the U17 European Championships last summer.
And, having featured on the bench in Nottingham Forest’s EFL Cup win against Newcastle United last week, many fans are hoping that Appiah’s first-team debut is right around the corner. And exciting youth teamer could really improve the mood at the City Ground.
