Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to bring Rui Patricio and Rodrigo Battaglia to the Premier League but the fans want another Sporting Lisbon star.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have raided the Portuguese market on numerous occasions in the last two years, so it was always likely that they were going to be involved as Sporting Lisbon’s crisis deepens.
As reported by TEAMtalk, a number of Sporting’s top stars are angling for a move to England this summer with many moving to cancel their contacts after a series of unseemly dramas at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, namely a high-profile row with the president and a masked mob allegedly attacking the players after breaking into the training ground.
TEAMtalk understands that Wolves are keen to snap up the goalkeeper Rui Patricio on a free, while Argentine midfielder Rodrigo Battaglia is also in their sights.
But, if you ask the supporters, Bas Dost should not be overlooked either.
According to the Guardian, the Dutch goal-machine has indicated a desire to leave after being struck on the head during the shocking attack at Sporting’s training ground. And, considering that Dost scored 34 times last season – 71 in his two years in Portugal combined – he should not be short of offers.

Wolves completed the loan signing of Raul Jimenez from Sporting’s Lisbon rivals Benfica recently but Dost, an arch poacher who has scored wherever he has been, would perhaps be an even better addition, especially if he is available on a free.
