Emerson Hyndman shone in the Scottish Premiership with Rangers but hasn’t made a Premier League apeparance all season for Bournemouth.

Emerson Hyndman came of age at Rangers last season.
Few had heard of the Bournemouth-owned American midfielder when he arrived on loan at Ibrox in January 2017 but Hyndman quickly set about changing that. Creative, dynamic and blessed with an eye for goal, the Texan-born youngster wasted no time in establishing himself as a fans favourite on the blue half of Glasgow.
Though Pedro Caixinha used Hyndman sparingly compared to predecessor Mark Warburton, the 22-year-old ended his short-term spell at Rangers with four goals, four assists and the club’s Young Player of the Year award to his name.

Since then, however, Hyndman’s career has stalled. The USA starlet is very highly rated by Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe but he has still only featured three times all season, with none of his appearances coming in the Premier League.
Hyndman was nowhere to be seen either in an experimental USA squad filled with exciting youngsters in the recent international break.
And, given the chance, Rangers fans have made it clear that they would welcome Hyndman back to Ibrox as he celebrated his 22nd birthday on Monday.

Rangers have far more options in central midfield these days with Greg Docherty, Ryan Jack and Graham Dorrans all arriving this season but Hyndman boasts a unique skillset that would give him a far greater access to first-team football than he has at Bournemouth.
