You can never have too much creativity in midfield. Thankfully for Leeds, Pablo Hernandez is back to provide exactly that.

Leeds United manager Garry Monk has revealed to the club’s official website that Pablo Hernandez could feature in their EFL Cup clash against Norwich City on Tuesday.
The Whites returned to winning ways in the league with an impressive 1-0 success away at Wolves at the weekend but the former Swansea City boss has no intention of letting focus slip in the domestic cup, with The Canaries representing a significant step up from their opponents in the previous rounds; Luton Town and Blackburn Rovers.
However, Monk admitted that he may be tempted to ring the changes in order to add to their five match winning run at Elland Road.
“Pablo Hernandez (below) has a good chance of being involved, but the game may come too soon for Stuart Dallas, we are hopeful that he will be available at the weekend,” Monk told the club’s official website.

“We have done well in the EFL Cup games that we have played this season and tomorrow is another chance for us to progress.
“Tomorrow’s crowd will be over double compared to the last round against Blackburn Rovers and that gives us an extra incentive to go out there and do well for our fans.
“I’m sure it will be a great atmosphere, Norwich (below) are bringing a big support and we will go out there to put a performance on for our fans and give them something to shout about.”

Despite prevailing at the Molineux courtesy of a Silvio own goal, Leeds lacked a creative spark with Hernandez absent with a dead leg.
The former Swansea schemer has quickly taken up the mantle as the artful hub of an improving Leeds line-up since he joined on a six month loan deal from Al-Arabi in the summer, his vision and typical Spanish technique evident in impressive performances against Cardiff and Barnsley in particular.

Therefore, his recovery could hardly be better timed as fourth-placed Norwich prepare to make the long trip north.
