Rangers allowed Liam Kelly to join Scottish Premiership rivals Livingston this summer and the goalkeeper is starring away from Ibrox

Rangers might have let Liam Kelly leave for Livingston this summer but it seems that the Ibrox faithful think the highly-rated goalkeeper will be back before too long.
The Scotland U21 international was very highly rated in Rangers’ academy but never managed to get his break in the first team, failing to make a single appearance for the senior side.
And after helping Livingston win promotion from the Championship last season during a loan spell at the Almondvale Stadium, the West Lothian side did not wait around to get Kelly tied down to a permanent deal, signing him on a two-year contract.

The 22-year-old has certainly made a positive impression in his first top flight season too. Kelly was the hero as Livingston continued their magnificent start to the season with a goalless draw away at runaway leaders Hearts on Saturday, producing a superb penalty save to deny the in-form Stephen Naismith.
And though Allan McGregor has been in quite superb form since returning to Rangers on a free from Hull City, the experienced stopper is 36 these days and his contract is due to expire next summer.

So could Kelly return to Ibrox sooner rather than later? Some certainly think so.
