Bournemouth are reportedly targeting Fulham talisman Tom Cairney – and a move may increase Celtic’s chances of signing Emerson Hyndman on loan.

There could be a lot riding on Fulham reaching the Premier League this season. Slavisa Jokanovic’s free-scoring Cottagers have hit form at the perfect time and, after last weekend’s remarkable 4-1 win at Huddersfield Town, they have now edged Leeds United out of the play-off places.
However, if they fall at the final hurdle, they could pay the price dearly with a number of their star men linked with a move to the Premier League. And, according to the Daily Mirror, Burnley, Bournemouth and Newcastle United have frequently scouted talismanic playmaker Tom Cairney this season.
Scoring 11 goals and providing another 10 assists, Cairney’s influential performances rightly earned a place in the Championship’s PFA Team of the Year. And it also appears to have paved the way for a second chance in the top flight for the former Hull City youngster.
He would be a perfect fit for the pretty passing philosophy instilled at Bournemouth by manager Eddie Howe. Furthermore, his vision, composure in possession and ability to find space between the lines, not to mention reliable end product, justifies his reported £10 million price tag, as reported by the Daily Mirror.
However, if Cairney does indeed swap the capital for the serenity of the South Coast, it could also push Emerson Hyndman out of the club.

The 20-year-old American, who plays in exactly the same position as Fulham’s Scotland international, is highly-rated by Howe but could be sent out on loan next season to give him the experience needed to play at the top of the English game.
According to the Daily Record, Celtic have made an enquiry about his availability, with Hyndman catching the eye since joining Old Firm rivals Rangers on a temporary deal in January.

Celtic may be in need of more creativity in midfield next season with Patrick Roberts set to return to Manchester City and Hyndman, scorer of four goals in 12 Scottish Premiership games, could fit the bill.
Therefore, manager Brendan Rodgers could be taking a vested interest in Cairney’s transfer saga.
