Premier League giants Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign Pinchi from La Liga strugglers Deportivo, but what about Florin Andone?

Florin Andone has been one of the most underrated strikers in La Liga over the last few seasons.

The Deportivo talisman has it all: natural pace, intelligent movement and clinical one-on-one finishing. He has scored four goals in his last five games, too, although the struggling Depor have only picked up two points during that dismal run.

So if this one-time Champions League team do suffer relegation at the end of the season, which is entirely possible, expect Andone to be one of the first players rescued from the sinking ship.

As reported by the Sun, Premier League duo Tottenham and Liverpool are looking closely at Deportivo’s 22-year-old striker Pinchi, who has been turning heads for the reserve team and is out of contract in the summer.

But if Spurs and Liverpool are looking to the Riazor for an exciting young attacker, surely the 24-year-old Andone should come into consideration.

The Romanian intentional was expected to move to England during last summer, Sky Sports claiming that Burnley had made a bid of £11.8 million after he hit 12 La Liga goals during an excellent 2016/17 breakthrough season.

And it is understood, via AS, that Andone has a release clause of around £27 million, which is obviously within budget for Tottenham and Liverpool, both of whom are lacking a little depth when it comes to out-and-out centre-forwards.

Andone would probably be an upgrade on Fernando Llorente at Spurs and would offer Liverpool a more natural striking option in attack.

So forget the unproven Pinchi; one of La Liga’s form men should be the Deportivo attacker in demand.
