This is not the start Pedro Caixinha would have wanted as he prepares to sign on with Rangers.
‘Celtic brothers’. There’s not many sentences Rangers fans would loathe to hear their prospective new manager say more except, perhaps, ‘I admire the technical ability of Scott Brown’.
Therefore, Pedro Caixinha was probably praying that this clip wouldn’t resurface as he seemingly edges closer to the Ibrox hotseat.
Now, we must consider the context. The 46-year-old was in charge of Santos Laguna at the time and was seemingly cheering on Ronny Deila’s side from sunny Mexico at least two years ago. It’s not like he’s donned a vivid green, clover-infested scarf on his official unveiling at Ibrox.

And lets not forget the fact that, in 2011, Celtic forged a partnership with Santos Laguna with the prospect of even swapping players, as reported by the BBC.
Yet, after previous reports emerged suggesting that Caixinha used to work as a scout for Celtic, a rumour dismissed by his close friend Arlindo Morais as reported by the Daily Record, this has only given Hoops supporters even more ammunition to taunt their blue-clad rivals.
Expect to see the phrase ‘Agent Pedro’ dotted all over social media if the Portuguese gets off to a rocky start in Scotland.

Yet, there’s really nothing Rangers fans need to be worried about. Caixinha is a formidable professional with a steely winning mentality. If he finally inks a contract with the Glasgow giants, his first aim will be to kick their city rivals off their perch.
Although, for the time being, you feel Celtic fans are going to have their fun with this one.
