Norwich City beat Leeds United 3-1 to move top of the Championship table but it was far from straightforward against Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Norwich City produced one of the finest performances of the Championship season on Saturday, rocking up at Elland Road and taking their place at the top of the table.
The three goals were hardly glorious, two rather fortunate Mario Vranjic strikes sandwiching a Teemu Pukki tap-in after the ball rebounded straight into his path. But Daniel Farke’s side were energetic, aggressive and never really looked like conceding until Patrick Bamford flicked a late consolation into the net.
But, perhaps buoyed by another super display from the on-song Canaries, Norwich fans appear to have plenty of goodwill for their West Yorkshire counterparts.

Saturday’s performance was hardy Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds at their free-flowing best but there was still plenty to admire. They boasted 63 per cent possession and had 21 shots at goal – though the luck of the bounce never appeared to be on their side.
And, taking to Twitter after the delirium died down, it seems that many Norwich fans would be more than happy to see Leeds join them in the Premier League next season.
Though, after losing five of their last seven Championship games, a change in form is needed and fast.
