Bayern Munich have sacked manager Carlo Ancelotti – prompting West Ham fans to call for his appointment.

Bayern Munich were hammered 3-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday evening – and that proved to be Carlo Ancelotti’s final game in charge.
The German giants struggled in Paris, and Bayern today made the decision to part ways with Ancelotti, with the search now on for his replacement.
The Italian was appointed as Pep Guardiola’s replacement in 2016, and whilst he won the Bundesliga title last season, his time in Bavaria is up.

The 58-year-old will now be the biggest name available on the managerial market, and one club who could be looking for a new manager are West Ham United.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic managed to cling on to his job at the end of the season, but his start to the season – four Premier League defeats in six games – has seen the pressure mount once again.
Bilic faces a huge game against Swansea this weekend, and if things go badly, the Croatian could find himself heading a similar way to Ancelotti.

In fact, West Ham fans have taken to Twitter today in order to state that they want Ancelotti to come in as Bilic’s replacement should the Hammers choose to sack their manager.
Some even went as far to message co-owner David Gold about the situation, urging him to do everything he can to bring ex-Chelsea boss Ancelotti back to London.
