Nikola Vlasic didn’t cut it in the Premier League with Everton but is on fire over in the Russian Premiership with CSKA Moscow.

Everton’s recent struggles continued in their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday, meaning Marco Silva’s side have now won just one of their first five Premier League games.
Meanwhile, Nikola Vlasic, the talented Croatian winger Silva let go before the start of the season, is going from strength to strength. Everton’s £10 million man moved on loan to CSKA Moscow and it’s fair to say he’s making a name for himself in Russia.
Vlasic assisted one and scored a 94th minute penalty as CSKA grabbed a dramatic Champions League draw away at Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday and followed that up with another influential display in the Moscow derby with Spartak at the weekend.
Vlasic was the best player on the pitch once again, cancelling out an opener from former Manchester City midfielder Fernando with a beautifully taken curling strike from the edge of the box.

That was his first league goal for CSKA, whose fans are becoming increasingly smitten with the former Hajduk Split starlet.
And after Ademola Lookman’s outstanding loan spell at RB Leipzig in the first half of 2018 and following Davy Klaassen’s superb start to life at Werder Bremen, surely questioned have to be asked about why Everton seem unable to get the best out of some of their players.
