The 25-year-old Burnley striker is on everyone’s radar, with Everton and West Bromwich Albion joining Tottenham Hotspur in the race for his signature.

Everton and West Bromwich Albion are the latest clubs to show an interest in Andre Gray, the Daily Star reports, with the 25-year-old likely to spark an almighty transfer tussle in the summer.

The former non-league goal-machine has enjoyed an impressive run of form with Burnley continuing to thrive in their first season back in the Premier League, his tally of eight goals in 21 games ensuring that Sean Dyche’s side will not get dragged into the relegation mix.

Gray has enjoyed a remarkable rise in recent seasons, from the conference to the top flight in four seasons and, if the Daily Star are to be believed, he could be on the move again in June with West Brom boss Tony Pulis making a new striker his top priority as Salomon Rondon continues to struggle in front of goal and Hal Robson-Kanu has netted just once all season.

With his contract set to expire next summer and negotiations over a new deal at a standstill, Burnley could be forced to sell their key man in the summer or risk losing him for nothing – a factor that has not passed by an Everton side over reliant on Romelu Lukaku for goals.

However, the prospect of joining a Tottenham Hotspur side with a new stadium on the way and Champions League football a possibility may prove far too difficult to turn down. The Sun claims that Mauricio Pochettino has made Gray his top summer target to take the pressure off Harry Kane.

And Gray, a jet-heeled striker who thrives off through balls, should slot perfectly into the attack, feeding off the service provided by Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and co.

The former Wolves youngster appears an ideal fit for Pochettino’s high-octane attacking approach; more so than Vincent Janssen anyway.
