Premier League giants Everton could dispense with Sam Allardyce at the end of the season and attempt to lure Paulo Fonseca to Goodison Park.

Appointing Paulo Fonseca would carry a certain degree of risk for Everton.
After all, Fonseca has never managed in the Premier League and, at the age of 44, he is relatively inexperienced in top level coaching. On the other hand, the current Shakhtar Donetsk boss is one of the most highly-rated young managers on the continent.
He is closing in on successive domestic titles with the Ukrainian giants and is arguably the only man who has out-coached Pep Guardiola all season; his Shakhtar side defeating the seemingly unstoppable Manchester City in a 2-1 Champions League group-stage win in December.

He has also been on Everton’s radar for some time. Fonesca was one of the main candidates to replace Roberto Martinez at Goodison Park in the summer of 2016 before Ronald Koeman was appointed.
Fonseca’s contract at Shakhtar expires in the summer, meaning he will come under consideration with majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri understandably concerned by Everton’s poor performances before and after Allardyce’s appointment.

And while some Everton fans are worried about Fonseca’s lack of Premier League nous, it seems he would be welcomed with open arms by the majority:
