The Arsenal midfielder has found fitness at Bournemouth, but could he eventually find his form at Everton?
There’s little doubt that Jack Wilshere is one of the most talented English players of his generation.
The sad fact is that he would probably have developed into one of Europe’s leading central midfielders had a spate of injuries not consigned him to a regular lengthy stints on the treatment table.
Yet, according to the Daily Mirror, Everton boss Ronald Koeman hasn’t been put off by his total of 29 Premier League starts in the previous three seasons, viewing Wilshere as the ideal player to strengthen the Everton midfield.

The 25-year-old has looked fit and healthy this campaign while breathing in the salty, South Coast sea air, his loan spell at Bournemouth producing 13 Premier League starts.
Having said this, a return of zero goals and zero assists hardly suggests that he can be the answer to Everton’s creative problems. In fact, Wilshere has played a more withdrawn role with The Cherries, leaving the devilment to Harry Arter or Junior Stanislas.
Everton, meanwhile, are looking for a player who can score and create in equal measure, not to mention stay fit throughout the campaign. So is Wilshere really the right man for the job?
