Matthew Pennington and Mo Besic will apparently leave Premier League side Everton this summer with Championship duo Fulham and Derby County keen.

Fulham and Stoke City will certainly take a keen interest in what Everton’s U23 coach David Unsworth has said on Wednesday.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, the 45-year-old has admitted that Matthew Pennington and Mo Besic are likely to leave Goodison Park this summer alongside a number of highly-rated youngsters.
“If you look at Morgan Feeney, Matthew Pennington, Muhamed Besic, probably Fraser Hornby and potentially Antony Evans, those five won’t be here,” Unsworth said after both players featured in a 2-0 friendly victory against Chorley Town.
This comes as TEAMtalk claim that Bosnian battler Besic is keen to join Fulham in a £5 million deal after five years at Goodison Park. The former Middlesbrough loanee would certainly add some bite to a Cottagers midfield high on technique but low on tenacity.
You could even make the point that Fulham boss Scott Parker sees something of himself in a player who loves a tackle.

Derby, meanwhile, still need to replace their reigning Player of the Year Fikayo Tomori and, according to the Liverpool Echo, The Rams are keen to bring Pennington to Pride Park to strengthen their options at centre-half.
The 23-year-old has plenty of potential but his distribution needs some work if he is to thrive in Phillip Cocu’s system. Though with loan spells at Leeds and Ipswich under his belt, Pennington, like Besic, is not short of Championship nous.
