Premier League duo Everton and West Ham United are reportedly keen to sign Chelsea striker Batshuayi, who is on loan with La Liga outfit Valencia.

Anyone who believes Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi is the man to solve their goalscoring problems should beware.
The famously erratic striker has certainly been less hit and more miss during a terrible loan spell at Valencia this season and his spell at the Mestalla hit rock bottom on Tuesday night.
Batshuayi missed a sitter as Los Che were beaten 2-1 by second tier Sporting Gijon in the Copa Del Rey, failing miserably to add to a tally of three goals in 23 games.
To make matters worse, the former Marseille talisman was hauled off at half time and never returned for the second 45 with Valencia boss Marcelino expressing his displeasure after the game.
“We need signings up front. In some cases our patience has run out (with certain players),” fumed the former Villarreal coach, as reported by Goal.

Now, The Mail had reported that both Everton and West Ham United were keen to offer Batshuayi a fresh start with Valencia expected to cancel his loan deal midway through the season.
There is certainly room at Goodison Park or the London Stadium for a natural centre-forward given that Richarlison and Marko Arnautovic, who are wingers by trade, have been relied upon for goals in recent months.
But Batshuayi would be far from a guaranteed success. For all his goals at Marseille and Dortmund, high profile failures at Chelsea and Valencia should not be ignored.
