Premier League trio Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with Club Brugge forward Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld.

Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld looks set to leave Club Brugge this summer but he might not be joining AC Milan, according to Calciomercato.

The 22-year-old has been in top form over in Belgium this season, scoring five times in all competitions while forcing his way into Ronald Koeman’s new look and youthful Netherlands squad.

As a result, it seems unlikely that Danjuma will be playing in Brugge for much longer. The Mail claimed in January that Tottenham, Everton and Liverpool are interested in the winger, who was born in Nigeria but has made his name in Belgium after a spell at PSV.

The report claimed that the Premier League trio were likely to face competition from Milan, who apparently offered £9 million. But, with the summer transfer window looming large, it seems the Rossoneri are now looking at alternative options.

Calciomercato claims that Danjuma’s representatives have offered him to Milan but sporting director Leonardo has decided against bringing the youngster to the San Siro.

The five-time European champions want to sign proven, top level footballers and believe Danjuma is a risk they are simply not willing to take.

He could be a fine investment for Everton, Tottenham or Liverpool, however. And all three should be encouraged by Milan’s decision to walk away.
