Rangers reportedly wanted to bring Ethan Robson to the Scottish Premiership a year ago; now he is north of the border at Dundee.

Ethan Robson has the chance to show Rangers what they are missing between now and the end of the season.
The Sun reported 12 months ago that the Gers were hoping to snap up the highly-rated Sunderland midfielder in the summer transfer window, with the energetic midfielder’s contract due to expire at the end of the season.
And, almost a year on, Robson finally made his move north of the border. But, rather than joining Rangers, he arrived at relegation threatened Dundee on a short-term loan until May, having signed a long-term contract with Sunderland.
Steven Gerrard’s side are due to welcome the Dark Blues to Ibrox later in February and the energetic Robson will be hoping to impress, reminding Rangers why they wanted him in the first place.
The chances are that he will come up against Glen Kamara, the Finland international who left Dundee for the Gers during the January window at the end of a protracted transfer saga.

And this could be a rather intriguing subplot. Kamara has been far from his best this season with Dens fans criticising his attitude and performances after his move to Rangers was confirmed last month.
If he his outshone by Robson at Ibrox, questions will start to be asked about whether Rangers got the right man.
