Scottish Premiership champions Celtic have agreed a £2m deal to sign Ivorian striker Bayo, who will be a welcome addition to Brendan Rodgers’ attack.

Vakoun Issouf Bayo is set to become the latest addition in a busy January transfer window for Celtic.
Brendan Rodgers has already snapped up Timothy Weah and Oliver Burke from PSG and West Brom respectively while American left-back Andrew Gutman is also expected to be announced in the near future.
And, according to The Sun, Celtic have already agreed a £2 million deal to sign Bayo from Slovakian outfit Dunajska Streda. The Ivory Coast international has already passed a medical with the Scottish Premiership champions and is expected to finally complete his transfer once he passes a work permit hearing.
Dunajska obviously feel the move is about to go through, however, bidding an emotional farewell to their star man on Twitter.
Rodgers will be hoping that the 22-year-old can fill the void left by the absence of both Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths in attack. A record of 18 goals in 23 matches this season certainly bodes well for Bayo as he prepares for life in Scotland.
He leaves Dunajska second in the Slovak Super League, eight points adrift of Slovan Bratislava.
