Franck Kessie could reportedly be on his way to the Premier League with West Ham United after impressing in Serie A with AC Milan.

West Ham United might have spent over £100 million on new players in the summer but that does not mean their squad is complete. The options available to manager Manuel Pellegrini in the centre of the park remain somewhat limited after all.
While Pedro Obiang has started the season very impressively, Mark Noble’s form has dropped after a recent good run while summer signings Carlos Sanchez and Jack Wilshere have spent more time in the treatment room since arriving.
So Franck Kessie would be a fine, if expensive way, to solve the engine room issues.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham have offered £31 million to sign the 21-year-old AC Milan powerhouse. Kessie is on loan at Milan from Atalanta but a permanent deal has already been agreed – and it is understood that the Rossoneri want more than £31 million if they are to cash in one of Serie A’s brightest talents.
Kessie is a physically imposing yet athletic midfielder, not too dissimilar to his Ivory Coast compatriot Yaya Toure. So, in the eyes of some West Ham fans, he ticks a lot of boxes.
Then again, The Hammers haven’t had great success when buying players from Italy. Remember Simone Zaza, Marco Borriello and Antonio Nocerino?
