Sabri Lamouchi’s Championship outfit Nottingham Forest have been linked with Olympiakos’s Greek goalkeeper Marios Siabanis recently.

It has all gone a bit quiet on the Marios Sabianis front.
As reported by Sport24 on Friday, Nottingham Forest could still make yet another signing despite the transfer window closing four days ago.
Olympiakos goalkeeper Sabianis had apparently agreed a deal to swap the Greek Super League for the English championship with a loan move to the City Ground. Nothing has been announced yet, however, with the trail growing rather cold.
But a bit of digging suggests that a deal could be very much alive and well. It might have even been done already.
Via his official Instagram account, Siabanis has published a photo of himself in a Nottingham Forest training top, although he still has Olympiakos, rather than the East Midland giants, in his bio.

There is clearly something afoot here. Is Siabanis already training at Forest with the deal set to be announced this week? With the 19-year-old offering a sneak peak behind the curtain on social media, it certainly makes sense for Sabri Lamouchi’s side to shed light on the situation now.
The Greek U19 international should provide competition with Aro Muric and Brice Samba for a place between the sticks in Forest’s XI with Costel Pantilimon expected to leave before the end of August.
