Jonny Otto is only on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers from Atletico Madrid – and Nuno Espirito Santo is seemingly looking at a Juventus defender now.

Wolverhampton Wanderers would surely jump at the chance to keep Jonny Castro Otto at Molineux beyond this season.
The Spanish left-back has proven to be a big hit since arriving at Molineux on loan from Atletico Madrid, establishing himself as a key part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s starting XI before suffering a ligament injury in November.
But the prospects of Atleti selling Jonny next summer look slim. After all, Diego Simeone’s side tied him down to a six-year deal when signing him from Celta Vigo last summer, seemingly identifying the 24-year-old as a long-term successor for Felipe Luis.
So this perhaps explains why Wolves have reportedly offered £16 million for another talented left-back.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Wolves are very interested in the 20-year-old Juventus defender Rogerio, who has shone on loan at Serie A outfit Sassuolo this season.

With Ruben Vinagre also plying his trade in the Black Country, it makes little sense for Wolves to sign another left-back unless Jonny is set to return to Spain in a few months’ time after all.
So reports that an opening bid has been made, one that TMW believe Juve will have to consider, it seems more likely than ever that Jonny’s future will be away from Molineux.
