West Bromwich Albion brought Krychowiak to the Premier League from PSG and are aiming to raid Ligue 1 again for Marseille’s Zambo Anguissa.

The Baggies’ record signing is Oliver Burke, who they paid £15 million for last summer from RB Leipzig, but Zambo Anguissa will surely become the most expensive player in their history if a deal can be struck in a few months’ time.
The Sun reports that West Brom have already had a bid of £13 million rejected for the Cameroon star, and it is understood that, along with Newcastle United, West Ham and Watford, the Baggies will make another move for a 22-year-old midfielder who has it all.
What this means for the future of Grzegorz Krychowiak at The Hawthorns, however, is up for debate.
Big things were expected of the Polish international when he arrived on loan from PSG, just a year after the Ligue 1 giants had paid £34 million to sign him from Sevilla, per The Mail.
Despite some much improved performances since the turn of the year, Krychowiak still has not quite lived up to expectations with Alan Pardew’s side seven points adrift of safety at the bottom of the Premier League.
The technically gifted defensive midfielder clearly has no future at PSG, who recently brought Lassana Diarra to the Parc des Princes on a free, and Le 10 Sport claimed earlier in the year that a permanent stay at West Brom was likely.
But The Baggies would have to pay a substantial fee to keep Krychowiak and, with a new bid for Zambo Anguissa planned, it seems unlikely they will pay big money for two powerful central midfielders.
