Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers were reportedly in talks to sign Sparta Prague striker Tetteh last week.
This time last week, The Mail reported that Wolverhampton Wanderers had turned to Sparta Prague starlet Benjamin Tetteh with Nuno Espirito Santo still trying to bring a new striker to Molineux.
The so-called ‘new Didier Drogba’ has burst onto the scene this season on the back of some supreme performances in the Czech Republic. Tetteh has scored an impressive nine goals for Sparta and, according to The Mail, Wolves had entered talks over a potential £11 million deal.
But it seems that the Premier League high-flyers are on the verge of missing out on the Ghana U20 international.
According to the Ghana-based publication King GH, Tetteh has now reached an agreement with Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray with the striker’s agent, Sascha Empacher, having progressed talks with the Istanbul-based outfit.
Surprisingly, the report adds that Gala have agreed a bargain fee of just £6.6 million though Sparta might have been won over by being promised a sizeable chunk of any move Tetteh might make in the future.
Football Ghana claimed that Everton, Bournemouth and West Ham were also interested in Tetteh. But they, like Wolves, will have to look elsewhere.
