As well as Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers, Todibo has been linked with Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a habit of bringing some of Europe’s most promising talents to Molineux since Fosun International completed their big-money takeover in 2016, from Ruben Neves to Ivan Caveleiro, Ruben Vinagre to Diogo Jota.

But will the talented Toulouse defender Jean-Clair Todibo follow in their footsteps?

La Depeche have claimed that Wolves are interested in the 6ft 2ins centre-back, who has made 10 Ligue 1 appearances this season at the age of just 18. But although Todibo is far from an established centre-back in European football, signing him could be one of Wolves’ biggest challenges in the transfer market.

Calciomercato have already claimed that the dominant force of Serie A, Juventus, have tabled an offer and they aren’t the only Italian giant in the race.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli are also chasing Todibo while he has admirers in Germany too in the shape of Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig, a side who have developed a reputation for signing young players like the Frenchman.

The report adds that Todibo is interested in a move to Italy and it seems that his time at Toulouse is coming to an end with his contract expiring in the summer.

So with Inter, Milan, Napoli, Bayern and Juve in the race, what chance do Wolves have?
