Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly offer Blackburn Rovers’ Bradley Dack a Premier League chance on the back of his fine Championship form.
Just two years ago, Bradley Dack was named League One’s Player of the Year after an outstanding season for Gillingham. Fast-forward to October 2018 and Tottenham Hotspur are now being linked with a big-money January move.
Dack has enjoyed a rapid rise since his stellar spell at Priestfield.
The 24-year-old joined Blackburn Rovers for a bargain £750,000 in 2017, finished second in League One in May and has since stepped up to the Championship in style, scoring six goals in just nine starts.
According to the Standard, Dack’s outstanding displays for Tony Mowbray’s side have caught the eye of Tottenham.
West Bromwich Albion, then, could be blown out of the water. According to the Sun (7 October, page 60), the Baggies were willing to pay a club-record £20 million to sign the 24-year-old in January, having seen a £15 million bid snubbed by Blackburn in August.
West Brom are hotly tipped to seal an immediate return to the Premier League, after a fine run of form lifted them to second in the Championship table.
But it seems unlikely that Dack would move to The Hawthorns if Tottenham offer him the chance to play at the top level of English and European football.
