David Moyes could reportedly go head-to-head with the West Ham United board to bring Robert Snodgrass back after a fine spell at Aston Villa.

We have reached the end of the 2017/18 season and still it is not sure what the future holds for David Moyes at West Ham.
The Scot was hired as the replacement for Slaven Bilic in November and succeeded in his brief of keeping the Hammers safe from relegation, the London club ending the campaign in 13th place.
But Moyes’ contract officially expired on midnight on Sunday. And the former Everton and Sunderland manager, while suggesting he would like to stay at the London Stadium, appears to be no closer to finding out whether he will be handed a new deal, as reported by talkSPORT.

And new reports concerning the future of Robert Snodgrass could make it clear whether or not Moyes will be leading West Ham out next season.
TEAMtalk states that Moyes has made it clear he would like Snodgrass to return this summer after he spent the season on loan at Aston Villa in the Championship. It is understood that the 55-year-old will have to go head-to-head with the board, who do not appear to share his enthusiasm of the former Hull City winger.
Co-owner David Sullivan even claimed that his kids begged him not to sign Snodgrass for £10 million in January 2017; which unsurprisingly upset the Scottish wide man.

But Snodgrass has been in fine form for Villa, scoring seven goals and setting up 14 with Steve Bruce’s side potentially 180 minutes away from a return to the Premier League via the play-offs.
If Snodgrass does return to West Ham, that will perhaps be the biggest sign yet that Moyes will be staying after all.
