Mikael Lustig has won seven Scottish Premiership titles at Celtic but manager Brendan Rodgers reportedly wants to bring in a new right-back.

Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership title in each of the last seven seasons. And Mikael Lustig has been present for every single one.
Signing on a free from Rosenborg back in 2012, the Swedish right-back has been one of Celtic’s best value signings of the 21st century, making almost 250 appearances for the Glasgow giants.
But could Lustig’s time at Parkhead be running out?
It is well documented that his contract expires next summer. And, at the age of 31, Lustig is not getting any younger. So, while he remains a regular starter for now, it remains to be seen whether he is still wearing the green and white hoops this time next year.
As reported by the Scottish Sun, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is actively looking for a new right-back. The Bhoys were linked with a number of players over the summer including Cristiano Piccini, according to the Mail, who eventually joined Valencia for £7 million.

Celtic also have the 19-year-old Antony Ralston waiting in the wings. Rodgers is a big fan of the teenager, who is currently on loan at Dundee United, and even squared him up against Neymar in a Champions League clash with PSG last season.
So could Rodgers be preparing for life after Lustig? He may be entering his final few months as a Celtic player.
