Graham Dorrans’ injury problems have restricted him to just one Scottish Premiership appearance for Rangers since Steven Gerrard took over at Ibrox.

Graham Dorrans just cannot catch a break right now.
Ever since his long-awaited £1.3 million move to Rangers from Norwich City last summer, the midfielder has struggled with a succession of injury problems. The 31-year-old has made just one league appearance all season, playing 27 minutes against St Johnstone in September, and he has since been ruled out until the New Year.
And when Dorrans finally, finally returns to action, it seems that he will face a real challenge forcing his way back into Steven Gerrard’s plans.
The likes of Ryan Jack, Stuart Arfield, Ovie Ejaria and Lassana Coulibaly have established themselves at Rangers in Dorrans’ absence while the forgotten man Jordan Rossiter (below) is also back in the first-team picture.

And The Express reports that Gerrard is keen to add another midfielder to his ranks as part of a January transfer splurge – which might push Dorrans even further down the pecking order.
Just a week ago, Gerrard told the Scottish Sun that he had no plans to give up on Dorrans – but it is hard to see where the one-time West Brom midfielder fits in at Ibrox with yet another midfielder likely to be on his way.
