Could Leeds United could be a dark horse to sign the Serie A striker?

Wolverhampton Wanderers owe much to Jorge Mendes after he and his array of uber-talented clients helped the club end their six-year exile from the Premier League.

And, despite publically criticising Wolves’ cosy relationship with Mendes, it seems that Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani is keen to enter the super-agent game himself.

Radrizzani informed talkSPORT recently of his links with Dutchman Mino Raiola. And, according to Leeds Live, the Championship giants have enlisted the help of Raiola in convincing Abel Hernandez to move to Elland Road.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg. Like Mendes at Wolves, Raiola boasts a lengthy list of promising talents who could benefit from a move to Leeds; like Andrea Pinamonti, for instance.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the 19-year-old Inter Milan forward, who has been heavily linked with a move to England via Wolves ironically, has recently joined Raiola’s agency and Radrizzani should have taken note.

Pinamonti is one of the most exciting attacking talents in Radrizzani’s home country of Italy, even if he has nont managed to force his way into Inter’s first-team plans just yet.

And in recent seasons Leeds have established themselves as a club that gives young players a platform and one that is not scared to dabble in foreign markets.

So maybe this is the time for Radrizzani to give Raiola a call and enquire about the availability of the newest addition to his client list.
