Could John Terry reunite with Frank Lampard at Derby County?

The John Terry saga continues to rumble on and we are still none the wiser about where he will rock up next.
The former England captain had agreed a move to Spartak Moscow, even completing a medical, before deciding against moving his young family to Russia.
And the Daily Star claims that a return to Aston Villa could now be on the cards, with manager Steve Bruce scouring the market for free agents capable of shoring up his wobbly defence.
Terry spent last season at Villa Park, proving to be an influential figure on and off the pitch, and the report adds that the Midland giants can afford to pay his £60,000-a-week wages.
But, according to bookmakers Coral, Terry’s most likely destination is another Championship side. They have made Derby County 9/2 favourites to sign the experienced centre-back, who will turn 38 in December.

Obviously the Frank Lampard connection is key here.
Terry played alongside the Derby manager for over a decade in the colours of Chelsea and England and the pair remain close friends off the pitch, too.
Given how well Terry performed in the Championship last season for Villa, Derby signing a 37-year-old on £60,000-a-week wages would not be as baffling as it sounds.
