Championship promotion hopefulls Derby County are shaking up their squad this month and have allegedly offered Chris Martin to Leeds United.

Chris Martin is already fourth choice in Derby County’s list of strikers and will fall even further down the pecking order once Cameron Jerome completes his arrival from Norwich City.
So it is little surprise that the Rams are attempting to offload the high-earning Scot before the month is out.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Derby approached Championship rivals Leeds United, offering them the chance to sign Martin on loan for the rest of the season. It is understood, however, that Leeds turned down the offer as Martin would have torn up the wage structure at Elland Road.
However the long-serving centre-forward is not the only player Derby are keen to force out of Pride Park this month.

Derby signed Shackell for a fee of around £1 million from Burnley in the summer of 2015 but, at the age of 34, has not made a single Championship appearance this season due to injury.
Richard Keogh and Curtis Davies have established themselves as a solid central-defensive partnership in his absence.

Derby are also keen to cut ties with the former Watford man Ikechi Anya this month.
The versatile Scot, who Derby paid £4 million for just 18 months ago, is not part of Rowett’s plans and has played just 19 minutes of Championship football all season.
