Leeds United’s Kemar Roofe has scored four goals in three games against Derby County this season, including one in the Championship play-off semi final.

Frank Lampard has admitted he is a huge fan of Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe, though the in-form forward will be missing when Derby County travel to Elland Road for the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final, as reported by the Derby Telegraph.
Roofe made the difference in the first leg at Pride Park on Saturday, converting a perfectly weighted Jack Harrison cross to give Leeds a one goal lead in the tie with a place at Wembley in their sights.
That was the former West Brom forward’s 15th goal in 34 games this season, an impressive tally for a player who had spent much of his career in an advanced midfield role before being converted into a centre-forward under Bielsa.
But Leeds will be without their £3 million man in West Yorkshire on Wednesday night with Roofe suffering a calf injury towards the end of that win in Derby.
And you can imagine that Rams boss Lampard will be thrilled to avoid coming up against a player who has scored four goals in three games versus Derby this season alone.

“He’s a very good player, Kemar Roofe. He scored in the first game and I’m a big admirer of his, individually,” said the former Chelsea star.
“So of course, it would be a player that Leeds would want (fit) – but we all have our problems. We’ll worry about ourselves and they can worry about that one.”
Roofe’s absence will open the door again for Patrick Bamford, who has endured a mixed time since moving to Elland Road last summer. The former Middlesbrough forward missed the last two games after being banned for taking a dive against Aston Villa.
