Reports claim Championship high-flyers West Bromwich Albion are preparing a massive bid for Blackburn Rovers star Bradley Dack.

Is there a better player in the Championship right now than Bradley Dack? Come January, he might be the most expensive too.
Because, according to The Sun (7 October, page 70), West Bromwich Albion are very keen to bring the Blackburn Rovers talisman to The Hawthorns. And after failing with a £15 million bid in August, it is claimed that The Baggies are now ready to pay a club-record £20 million to sign Dack in the New Year.
That is a huge fee for a player who moved to Ewood Park from Gillingham in the summer of 2017 for just £750,000. But the fact that Dack could become the most expensive player in the history of the Championship is testament to his remarkable form in the second tier.
The 24-year-old took his tally to six goals in nine games with a typical poacher’s effort in Saturday’s 1-0 Lancashire derby win away at Bolton.
And the former West Ham and Norwich striker Dean Ashton has indicated that West Brom would be getting a player capable of starring at an even higher level.

“I think you have to start thinking about it (Dack being Premier League quality),” Ashton told the EFL on Quest (6 October, 9pm).
“It’s not a fluke that he keeps ending up in the right place in the box. It’s great anticipation and there’s not actually that many players who have got that. So I think a lot of Premier League clubs will be looking at him.”
West Brom arguably have the most impressive attack outside the Premier League, having scored 31 times in 12 games so far. So signing Dack would surely make Darren Moore’s side favourites for promotion.
