Thomas Strakosha has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Hugo Lloris under big pressure at Tottenham Hotspur.

Legendary goalkeeper David Seaman has refused to write off under-fire Tottenham Hotspur shot-stopper Hugo Lloris. But he believes the Frenchman will be under huge pressure if the North London side sign Lazio’s Thomas Strakosha, speaking on Alan Brazil’s Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT (3 April, 9.00am).
Lloris has had a difficult season between the posts and made yet another high-profile mistake in Sunday’s dramatic 2-1 defeat away at Liverpool.
France’s World Cup winning captain dropped a tame Mo Salah header with just minutes left on the clock and the ball trickled over the line in agonising fashion after deflecting off a stunned Toby Alderweireld.
As a result, Spurs have been tipped to replace Lloris this summer with the Sun (3 April, page 56) reporting that they have been scouting Albanian international Strakosha, who would cost around £35 million.
Seaman believes signing the 24-year-old would give Tottenham some depth in the goalkeeping department but thinks Lloris is not done at the top level just yet.

“Paying £35m, that’s going to be real pressure (on Lloris),” said the former Arsenal number one. “(But) it’s a bit easier now cause a lot of managers agree to play the reserve goalkeeper in the FA Cup for the Champions League.
“I still think Lloris is a real top quality goalkeeper.”
Strakosha is eight years younger than Lloris and has been in fine form this season for a Lazio side hoping to qualify for the Champions League.
Meanwhile, many supporters have asked Mauricio Pochettino to put their faith in Argentine understudy Paulo Gazzaniga.
