Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to raid Premier League rivals Southampton for Inter Milan loanee Cedric Soares.

One of the more intriguing transfer rumours of the year emerged on Tuesday.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in rescuing Cedric Soares from Premier League rivals Southampton when the window opens at the end of the season.
A Portuguese international who won Euro 2016 alongside the likes of Rui Patricio and Joao Moutinho, Cedric was a huge success during his first few seasons at Southampton, showing that the £3.6 million fee they paid for the former Sporting Lisbon defender was a real bargain (the Guardian).
But his stock has fallen considerably. He was replaced by young Yann Valery by Ralph Hasenhuttl before Southampton loaned him out to Inter Milan in January.
With Cedric struggling in Serie A, however, Inter are unlikely to take up their option to sign the right-back permanently for £9.5 million.

And this is where Wolves come in.
On paper, Molineux could be the perfect environment for Cedric to get his career back on track. He would surely thrive in a dressing room with a heavy Iberian influence while Nuno Espirito Santo’s preferred wing-back system could get the best out of an attacking and modern defender.
But, while Wolves fans would welcome Cedric with open arms, it seems Southampton supporters are only too keen to see him go.
