Celtic midfielder Scott Allan has kick-started his career again on loan at Scottish Premiership rivals Hibernian this season.

Hibernian’s return to the Scottish top flight could not have gone much better.
The Edinburgh side are fourth in the table and still have a chance to qualify for Europe heading into the final game of the season.
But Hibs fans have already been given reason to worry ahead of the summer transfer window, because the brilliant triumvirate of Dylan McGeouch, John McGinn and Scott Allan, dubbed by some as the best midfield in Scotland, could be broken up.

And the Scottish Sun has now reported that Hibs could struggle to hang onto Allan too, the enigmatic midfielder who returned to Easter Road on loan from Celtic in January and has rediscovered his magic touch.

But could a second chance at Celtic be on the cards? Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers has already decided to bring back fellow loanee Ryan Christie from Aberdeen this summer and there could be space in Celtic’s squad for a creative midfielder with Tom Rogic and Callum McGregor both linked with moves away.
And reports in the Scottish Sun that Hibs are worried about Allan’s future might suggest that Celtic are at least giving thought to the idea of handing the 26-year-old a bigger platform to perform with his vast potential starting to shine through once again.
