Championship leaders Leeds United reportedly sent scouts to watch Mbaye Diagne for Turkish Super Lig outfit Kasimpasa at the weekend.

Kasimpasa’s prolific centre-forward Mbaye Diagne could well be on his way to England in the January transfer window.
It is well documented that the Senegal international is keen to prove himself on British shores having applied for an EU passport. And, according to Turkish Football, Leeds United are still keeping a close eye on him after holding talks with the 26-year-old over the summer.
The report states that Leeds sent scouts to watch Diagne in action during Kasimpasa’s weekend clash with Antalyaspor. And the in-form striker seized his chance to impress, continuing a remarkable scoring streak with his eighth goal in just six league games so far this season.
And TEAMtalk has now provided more information about a potential deal for Diagne in 2019.

It is claimed that he is valued at around £9 million, which would exceed the fee Leeds paid for Patrick Bamford and would make him the Whites’ most expensive signing since Robbie Fowler in 2001.
But, if Diagne could bring his Kasimpasa scoring streak to Elland Road, £9 million would look like good value. Since arriving in Turkey from China in January, he has hit the net 21 times in 23 starts.
