Bristol City could reportedly be forced to sell Callum O’Dowda with Leeds United having been linked with the Championship winger.

Bristol City may be forced to sell Callum O’Dowda this summer which could give Leeds United fresh hope of signing the talented winger, as reported by the Bristol Post.
The Republic of Ireland international has had a fine season at Ashton Gate, with his four goals and five assists helping Lee Johnson’s high-flying Robins force their way into the Championship play-offs with just a handful of games remaining.
But the Bristol Post believes O’Dowda could be sold in the summer. The Robins are allegedly hoping to make a marquee striker signing with Britt Assombalonga and Scott Hogan top of the list, and they will therefore have to raise funds for what could be an expensive addition.
And O’Dowda, who has just a year left on his contract, is the most likely player to be sacrificed as Bristol City aim to avoid losing one of their prized assets on a free transfer.

Sky Sports claimed in January that Leeds were interested in signing the speedy 23-year-old and he could be slightly cheaper than the likes of Daniel James, with the Post stating that he is valued at £10 million.
If Leeds are promoted this season, the riches on offer in the Premier League would surely finance a deal for one of the Championships more underrated attackers.
