Former West Ham United flop Havard Nordtveit sealed a shock return to the Premier League with Fulham on transfer deadline day.

Fulham’s decision to offer Havard Nordtveit a second spell in the Premier League has left West Ham United fans rather baffled.
The Norwegian international moved to Craven Cottage on loan from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim for the rest of the season on transfer deadline day and he will be tasked with shoring up a defence which is statistically the worst in the Premier League.
Nordtveit can play at centre-half, at full-back or even in defensive midfield. So, on paper, he could be a sensible addition.
Although West Ham fans have been quick to remind their London rivals just how disappointing the Norway international was during his one and only season at the London Stadium in 2016/17.

Nordtveit arrived at West Ham on a free transfer and supporters still felt they had been ripped off. The one-time Arsenal youngster was a huge disappointment in his 11 Premier League starts and few were too concerned when he bid farewell after just 12 months.
So it is fair to say that Fulham will be hoping that he does rather better upon his return to London.
