There may be 37 miles separating Selhurst Park and the Amex Stadium, but that does not mean the rivalry between Crystal Palace and Brighton is not felt as keenly as any other in English football.

Inspired by two sublime Solly March assists, Chris Hughton’s side won 2-1 at ten-man Huddersfield, while Palace dominated Burnley at home and were more than deserving of their 2-0 victory.

As it stands, Brighton are an impressive 11th in the Premier League, six points clear of their bitter rivals.
