Crystal Palace travel to the Amex Stadium on Tuesday night to resume their bitter rivalry with Premier League neighbours Brighton and Hove Albion.

There may be 37 miles separating Selhurst Park and the Amex Stadium, but that does not mean the rivalry between Crystal Palace and Brighton is not felt as keenly as any other in English football.
The Seagulls are due to host the Eagles tonight on the South Coast in a game that is likely to elicit plenty of emotion from both sets of supporters. And Clinton Morrison knows what this match means to fans in Croydon.

The striker is one of Palace’s favourite sons, having made over 300 appearances in two spells at the London club between 1997 and 2008. And, with just hours until kick-off, Morrison has taken to Twitter to spur his former employers on.
Both Brighton and Crystal Palace go into the clash in high spirits, having sealed much needed wins at the weekend. Inspired by two sublime Solly March assists, Chris Hughton’s side won 2-1 at ten-man Huddersfield, while Palace dominated Burnley at home and were more than deserving of their 2-0 victory.
As it stands, Brighton are an impressive 11th in the Premier League, six points clear of their bitter rivals.
