Marco Silva’s Everton reportedly want to bring Patrick Schick to the Premier League from Serie A side Roma this summer.

Claudio Ranieri has hailed the potential of reported Everton target Patrick Schick, describing the much-maligned striker as a ‘big champion’ in quotes reported by Calciomercato.
Despite an excellent run of form which has included well-deserved wins against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United at Goodison Park, the Toffees need a prolific centre-forward with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun failing to find the net on a regular basis.
And Tuttomercatoweb claimed in May that Everton are looking to bring Schick to Merseyside, two years after Roma signed him from Sampdoria on a club-record deal.
A rangy yet skilful centre-forward who has been likened to Zlatan Ibrahimovic by Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved (Goal), Schick has struggled to live up to expectations at the Stadio Olimpico. He’s scored just eight goals for the capital club, five of those coming in 2018/19.

But Roma coach Ranieri believes that Schick has the quality to overcome the leanest spell of his short career.
“Schick? He is a big champion, there are those who mature earlier and others later. But he has all to become a great player,” said the former Fulham, Leicester and Chelsea manager.
Tuttomercatoweb claimed that Everton would have to pay £26 million for Schick, which is a lot for a player who has found the net just eight times in 56 games for his current employers.
