Premier League strugglers Fulham could potentially lose Matt O’Riley with Rangers and Celtic linked.

The prospect of losing Matt O’Riley has Fulham fans worried.

According to Sky Sports, there are a whole host of clubs keeping tabs on the 18-year-old midfielder, who is one of the most highly-rated creative talents anywhere in English football.

Scottish Premiership table-toppers Rangers and Celtic are understood to be considering a bid with Leeds United and Norwich City, the sides currently in the two automatic promotion positions in the Championship, also interested.

And that is without mentioning the number of clubs keen to bring O’Riley to the Bundesliga. Perhaps encouraged by the success of Jadon Sancho, Borussia Dortmund are at the front of the queue, alongside Stuttgart and RB Leipzig.

And the reaction from Fulham supporters on Twitter speak volumes about O’Riley’s potential. The teenager has been tipped to follow in Ryan Sessegnon’s footsteps at Craven Cottage and he produced a masterful performance in a 3-1 triumph over Manchester United’s U23s at the weekend.

Celtic and Rangers have proven themselves to be a fine platform for fresh-faced future stars in recent years and they would clearly be getting one hell of a talent if O’Riley swaps London for Glasgow.
