Uche Ikpeazu has scored just four Scottish Premiership goals for Hearts but Sutton believes he is perfect for Celtic.

Chris Sutton has backed Celtic to make a move for Hearts striker Uche Ikpeazu in the summer transfer window, as reported by the Express.
It has been a difficult week for the Hoops, with manager Brendan Rodgers walking out to join Leicester City last week and assistant coaches Chris Davies and Kolo Toure joining him at the King Power Stadium.
As a result, Celtic’s summer transfer plans have been thrown up in the air with head of recruitment Lee Congerton also expected to go.
Nonetheless, former Hoops hero Sutton believes that the Scottish Premiership leaders should still be preparing for the summer with Ikpeazu, a strong, physical and old school target man, one player who would give the club something completely different.

“It wouldn’t be a bad idea for Celtic to make a move for Uche Ikpeazu as well as the big striker must be an absolute nightmare to play against,” Sutton said of the former Cambridge United striker.
“He’d bring a different option, that’s for sure.”
On paper, a tally of four goals in 15 games is hardly impressive, but Ikpeazu offers far more than the ability to hit the back of the net. He is an unselfish centre-forward who holds the ball up effectively to get the best out of those around him.
Celtic might be in need of a new striker, with Oli Burke and Timothy Weah only on loan from West Brom and PSG. Leigh Griffiths’ future also remains up in the air.
