Tottenham Hotspur want to raid Premier League neighbours Watford for Abdoulaye Doucoure – who in turn want Callum McGregor from Celtic.

Mousa Dembele limped out of Tottenham’s 2-0 Premier League win against Watford last week and may never be seen in a Spurs kit again with a summer move beckoning.
But was his replacement sharing a pitch that Monday night?
According to The Sunday People (11th February, page 51), Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is a big fan of the £25 million-rated Watford powerhouse Abdoulaye Doucoure, who has shone for The Hornets this season with his colossal displays in the centre of the park.

And if Spurs are hoping to bring in the Frenchman as Dembele’s successor, they may be looking for help from Celtic.
According to The Sun, The Hoops face a challenge holding onto midfielder Callum McGregor this summer with Watford keen on the £10 million-rated Scot. And though McGregor is hardly a carbon copy of Doucoure, he possesses a similarly dynamic qualities and the ability to drive forward and score goals from midfield.
The 24-year-old McGregor has 11 strikes to his name this season.

So if he does bring an end to a lifelong association with Celtic, which The Sun suggests is possible as he wants to prove himself in England, McGregor signing for Watford could set off a transfer roulette with Doucoure eventually ending up in North London.
Tottenham find a replacement for Dembele, Watford find a replacement for Doucoure, and Celtic get £10 million for a squad player.
Everybody wins.
