The Celtic-owned winger experienced heartbreak for Sunderland today.

It was a double celebration for Celtic on Saturday.
Neil Lennon oversaw a 2-1 win over Hearts in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park as Celtic clinched a historic treble Treble, before the Northern Irishman was then offered the permanent manager’s job.
All in all, a brilliant weekend, but one Hoops player could justifiably feel a little bit deflated as of right now.
Scottish winger Lewis Morgan played 82 minutes of Sunderland’s agonising playoff final defeat by Charlton Athletic. We know where the Black Cats will be next season – League One – but things are less certain for young Morgan.
Brendan Rodgers loaned out the 22-year-old winger to Wearside in January after what was a low-profile and trying first six months at Parkhead for the youngster.
Lennon, then at Hibernian, admitted to The Scotsman that he wanted Morgan at Easter Road before he joined Sunderland, and it’ll be interesting to see now if the Northern Irishman has plans for him.
Lennon has much better wingers now than he did at Hibs for obvious reasons, so Morgan could still struggle even under a different manager.
Still, he is only 22 and, with the right manager and coaching, he will get better. Question is, is there a scope for him to realise his potential at Celtic anymore?
