Scottish Premiership champions Celtic reportedly want to sign Bournemouth’s Premier League benchwarmer Lys Mousset.

Jermain Defoe might think Lys Mousset is an ‘unbelievable’ talent but Bournemouth fans haven’t seen much from their bench-warming striker to suggest he has all the tools to be a top class centre-forward.
Since joining the Cherries from Le Havre in 2016, the Frenchman has scored a grand total of five goals in 71 games – a dreadful tally even if the vast majority of those appearances have been cameos at best.
So suggestions that Celtic are considering a player-plus-cash deal for a man who has shown only flashes of potential in the last three years understandably hasn’t gone down too well with some rather sceptical supporters.

According to the Mail, Celtic will have to pay a club-record £10 million for Mousset while potentially letting at least one player move to Bournemouth as part of the deal.
The Premiership champions may have struck gold with young talents like Moussa Dembele, Virgil van Dijk and Victor Wanyama over the years but links with Mousset incur worrying flashbacks of Amido Balde or even the forgotten man Vakoun Issouf Bayo.
For £10 million, Mousset might not be a risk worth taking.
