Vakoun Issouf Bayo has not made a Scottish Premiership appearance yet for Celtic and won’t play against La Liga outfit Valencia either.

While Timothy Weah and Oli Burke have hit the ground running since arriving at Celtic, it seems that the fans will have to be patient before they see the best of Vakoun Issouf Bayo.
The £2 million former Dunajska Streda striker is yet to make his debut for The Hoops and has been left out of all of their Scottish Premiership games in 2019 with Brendan Rodgers keen to give him time to adapt to life in a new league.
And Bayo’s sluggish start has continued with Celtic deciding to omit him from their Europa League squad ahead of their crucial clash with Valencia next week.

As reported by the Daily Record, competition rules mean The Bhoys can only add three new players to their squad with Weah, Burke and Borussia Dortmund loanee Jeremy Toljan taking up those spaces – meaning there is no room for the Ivory Coast attacker.
But it seems that the Celtic fans are feeling rather level-headed on Tuesday morning, agreeing with Rodgers’ decision to leave Bayo on the sidelines.
At just 22, it seems he is a player for the future rather than someone who will make an immediate impact in Scotland.
