Steven Caulker was linked with a move to Celtic in the summer but has joined Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee after his QPR contract expired.

Steven Caulker is moving to Scotland. But few expected the former England international to be heading to Dens Park.
The former Tottenham and Liverpool defender had been looking to get his once-promising career back on track after opening up about his problems off the field, and will now be hoping to find his rhythm once again north of the border.

But it appears that Celtic fans have not given up hope of seeing Caulker in green and white in the near future.
The Record adds that Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers was considering a reunion with his former Swansea City loanee back in the summer. And the Parkhead faithful believe Rodgers will be keeping an eye on Caulker as he aims to help Neil McCann’s Dundee avoid the drop into the Championship.
If the Northern Irishman is still harbouring thoughts about bringing Caulker to Celtic, he has six months to prove his fitness and commitment at Dundee. There has never been any question about Caulker’s abilities after all.

Celtic signed Jack Hendry from Dundee for £1.5 million on transfer deadline day. Come the summer, will they be planning to raid Dens Park for another centre-back?
